The environmental protection indicators of the project have reached the international advanced level. The project invested 22.14 billion yuan to build high-standard supporting environmental protection facilities, and applied advanced safety and environmental protection production technologies and devices. The project is a key project of Hainan Province and Sinopec, mainly including 100 million tons/year ethylene cracking plant and 10 sets of downstream chemical plants, with a total investment of more than 286.<> billion yuan, and more than <>,<> people have been employed during the project construction period.
The project uses a number of technologies independently developed by Sinopec, and the design economic indicators are at the international advanced level. The 100 million tons/year ethylene plant adopts the million-ton ethylene complete set technology independently developed by Sinopec, of which the cracking furnace adopts Sinopec CBL technology and the separation process adopts Sinopec's low-energy ethylene separation technology (LECT). Compared with the similar technology of other foreign patentors, Sinopec's million-ton ethylene complete set technology integrates advanced unit technology and carries out comprehensive optimization and utilization of the whole process energy, which has the characteristics of simple process, convenient operation, safety and stability, investment saving, etc., and the key technical and economic indicators are at the international advanced level. At the same time, in this plant, by optimizing the raw material and process scheme, the flexibility of raw materials and the adaptability of the device are increased, and the overall benefit is optimized.
Innovative construction methods were implemented, and a number of projects reached records.
