For China's petroleum and gas development business, old oil and gas fields are the ballast stone of production, accounting for more than 2/3 of production. In 2019, all oil and gas fields firmly grasped the two main lines of "controlling decline rate" and "enhanced oil recovery", orderly promoted the fine description of oil and gas reservoirs, effective water injection, long-stop well treatment, classified and graded management of oil and gas reservoirs, major crude oil development tests and other work, and continued to increase the intensity of oil and gas well production increase measures... Through a series of measures, the development situation of oil and gas fields has gradually improved, the natural decline rate of crude oil, the comprehensive decline rate and the water content increase rate have slowed down by 0.3, 0.6 and 0.1 percentage points respectively, and the foundation for stable production of old oil and gas fields has been further consolidated.
Capacity construction is an important guarantee for stable oil and gas production and increased production. In 2019, PetroChina's production capacity construction focused on the two main lines of "technological progress and bill of lading production, management innovation and efficiency", strengthened source control, adhered to the efficiency forcing mechanism, combined with multi-discipline optimization development plans, innovated development management models, changed development methods, expanded the application scale of "horizontal wells + volumetric fracturing", and nearly doubled the number of new horizontal wells drilled throughout the year compared with the previous year, reaching a record high; The technical level of large well cluster and platform well laying has reached a new level, and the proportion of platform drilling above 3 wells in the total number of new wells exceeds 61%, an increase of 7.5 percentage points year-on-year. The annual new crude oil production capacity is 1471.13 million tons, the construction of 120 benefit construction and production demonstration areas such as Changqing Longdong shale oil is steadily advancing, the new production capacity of Mahu is 100.<> million tons, and the Tahenan desert oilfield is efficiently built.
