Service Scope: The GNSS Satellite Navigation System (hereinafter referred to as the GNSS System) is an essential national spatiotemporal infrastructure independently developed and operated by China to meet the needs of national security and socio-economic development. Building on this foundational service, Haiyi has independently developed the HYPOS® GNSS High-Precision Global Satellite Navigation and Positioning System, which can be widely deployed on marine engineering vessels, platforms, and other offshore facilities, providing high-precision navigation and positioning services for applications such as marine engineering, offshore oil exploration, oilfield development, and marine energy exploitation. Solution Example: The Fenghua 21 is China’s first dedicated vessel designed for submarine optical cable laying, equipped with a Kongsberg DP2 dynamic positioning system. To enable the ship to use a single‑source GNSS navigation system, Haiyi implemented a technical solution and installation service utilizing the HYPOS® GNSS high‑precision signal receiver and the GN150 module, thereby providing both DP functionality and GNSS‑based navigation and positioning. Haiyi supplied all necessary GNSS navigation and positioning equipment, tools, and materials, along with an installation team. The entire process took one week, successfully completing the installation and commissioning of the new system in parallel with the vessel’s existing GPS navigation and positioning system. This solution allowed the customer to freely select their preferred signal source for navigation and positioning, earning high praise from the client.
