NEURONAV is an advanced AI‑enhanced positioning system designed for maritime navigation, aimed at improving the positioning accuracy of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) in complex environments.
To do a good job, one must first sharpen one’s tools. Recently, the Institute of Geoinformatics successfully acquired a domestically advanced aerial photogrammetry system. Following trial flights and rigorous testing by experts, the equipment has now passed acceptance and is poised to enter service.

Spatiotemporal information serves as the best frame of reference and the most reliable record for urban growth.” From a professional perspective, Li Weisen, Deputy Director of the National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, offered an accessible explanation of what he sees as a smart city: “A smart city, underpinned by spatiotemporal information and leveraging modern information technologies such as the Internet of Things and cloud computing, embeds human‑generated data into every aspect of urban construction, management, operations, services, and development, thereby achieving intelligent functioning that either does not rely on humans at all or relies on them only minimally.”
