Scope of Services:
For the exploration of extremely shallow-water areas, our company provides technical services such as regional bathymetric and topographic surveying, geomorphological mapping, and pipeline inspection and surveying. These operations are carried out using a survey vessel, an unmanned surface vehicle, and a suite of integrated inertial navigation systems, along with equipment including the HY1203 acoustic sound‑speed profiler, pipeline locator, multibeam sonar system, and side‑scan sonar. We also process the data acquired by these onboard instruments.
Solution Example:
The PY30-1 landing pipeline shallow-water section survey project is located in the eastern waters of the South China Sea. According to preliminary survey results, the area exhibits well-developed sand waves and sand ridges, which may lead to exposure or suspension of the submarine pipeline, posing a safety risk. Moreover, the migration of these sand waves could impact subsequent jacket‑structure installation and operational safety.
On behalf of the Shenzhen Branch of CNOOC (China) Limited, the Shenzhen Branch of CNOOC Oilfield Services Co., Ltd. conducted this sand wave monitoring operation in the Modaomen area of Hengqin, Zhuhai.
The primary objective of the PY30-1 onshore pipeline shallow-water section survey project is to determine the exposure and burial conditions of the pipeline in this segment.
